Ambar Marte is a professional singer, performer, and music educator who specializes in several distinct musical styles, including jazz, opera, and Latin music. Ambar possesses a diverse musical background, consisting of the aural tradition of her native Dominican Republic as well as the notated Western tradition. She has performed in settings as varied as musical theatre, opera, solo voice, jazz band, salsa band, reggae band, and chamber choir. Ambar sings and teaches music written in English, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, German, and Latin. As a teacher she has experience working with students of all ages, from elementary schoolers to adults. Her pedagogical approach focuses on refining the student’s aural skills, developing the student’s confidence with improvisation, and helping the student to discover their own performance persona. Ambar graduated from Northern Essex Community College in 2018 with her Associate degree in Music. She is currently working towards her Bachelor’s in Music Education at UMass Lowell, where she studies with the distinguished bass-baritone Mark Andrew Cleveland. In her spare time, she can be found playing with her cat, Luna.
Laura's soulful musical roots began in a Haitian Baptist church at the age of 5. Starring in Off-Broadway Shows such as Sister Chantelle in BARE, Miss Sophia in The Color Purple, and stars as the lead "CECE" in a new musical called This Is Treatment directed by Elizabeth Addison. She sang for the Boston Symphony Hall and was a lead vocalist on the Original USA Gospel Singers European
Tour and Sound of America
Laura has has new music out as an R&B artist under the name, Ellore L.A. Her music uses her life story to inspire people and spread self-love. She studied Music Education at Umass Lowell and during college she began teaching voice at Music Elements. She taught voice and piano for 5 years to over 150 students. The summer of 2018, she got a role on a TV Pilot called “Class N Session” which she filmed that summer. From the work she did, she received an offer to be a production coordinator for Quincy Jones Global Network and decided to move to Los Angeles. Since moving to Los Angeles, she was the Musical Director for, “For Colored Girls”, the Delores Van Cartier in “Sister Act the Musical”, and casted in two feature films. She worked on the set of HBO’s “Insecure” and the show “This is Us”!
Laura is excited to be back teaching at Music Elements! Until our school is safely allowed to open, Laura is teaching all of the voice and piano lessons
in-person and online.

Olivia Minchello is a junior at University of Massachusetts Lowell in their Music Studies and is ecstatic to start teaching at Music
Elements! Olivia is a part of UML’s Chamber Singers and Opera Workshop, as well as the General
Manager of Fermata Nowhere – UML’s premiere all
female-identified a cappella group! Olivia this past summer
studied at New England Conservatory’s Opera Workshop and the
Sarteano Choral Conducting Workshop in Sarteano, Tuscany. Olivia
plans to continue her
education and attend grad school once she
finishes at UMass Lowell. When Olivia is not singing, you can
find her crocheting or playing with her dog Bear!

Alex Buiel is a classically trained pianist,
vocalist and pipe-organist
working in metro-Boston. He began his piano studies at age five and shortly after began studying pipe organ and voice. He was a choir boy at St.
Paul’s Choir School and studied pipe-organ while attending the Interlochen Academy for the Arts in Interlochen, Michigan. He has worked as church
pipe-organist for more than a decade, toured England singing with the choir of Trinity Church, Boston, and is currently the Organist and Director of
Music at St. Anne’s Parish in Readvile, MA. In addition to his classical and liturgical music, he has extensively worked as a session musician for
many bands in the metro-Boston area as well as plays keyboards in several groups.
Samantha Schulz has been singing and performing vocally for over 20 years in a variety of church, school, and community settings. She has
experience in popular music, contemporary Christian worship, musical theatre and bel canto. She is working on a Music Studies degree at UMass
Lowell, sings with the UML Chamber Singers and also sings on the worship team at Life Church (formerly Excel Church) in Leominster Massachusetts.
She has 3 cats, 2 kids, and 1 husband. Samantha also plays guitar and in her spare time likes to write songs.
