Samantha Schulz

Samantha SchulzSamantha Schulz has been singing and performing vocally for over 20 years in a variety of church, school, and community settings. She has experience in popular music, contemporary Christian worship, musical theatre and bel canto. She is working on a Musicsamantha schulz Studies degree at UMass Lowell, sings with the UML Chamber Singers and also sings on the worship team at Life Church (formerly Excel Church) in Leominster Massachusetts. She has 3 cats, 2 kids, and 1 husband. Samantha also plays guitar and in her spare time likes to write songs.

N.F. Raye

N.F. RayeN. F. Raye (he/they) is a vocal teacher who specializes in musical theater, vocal health and sustainability, as well as popular and classical voice. Their professional credits include singing with the Treble Chorus of New England (2009-2011), MMEA's Centeral District Choir (2015-2018), Massachusetts All-State Choir (2018), and Umass Lowell's University Choir (2018-2022). They also have a background in community theater, and have performed with both Dramatically Incorrect Theater Group (Lowell, MA) and Barre Players (Barre, MA) over the past three years. Raye has also previously worked as a music director and vocal instructor for Dramatically Incorrect Theater, as a Director's Assistant at the WorcesterRaye's Rock-Apella County Light Opera Playhouse, and as an intern in the Music Clubhouse of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lowell. Raye graduated from Umass Lowell in 2022 with a Bachelor's of Music Studies with a concentration in Community Engagement, and they have a passion for working with singers of all ages and abilities. Raye has experience working with students who have little-to-no experience singing, students who are still exploring their voices, and students who are looking for guidance to expand and explore their vocal knowledge. As a vocal instructor, they strive above all else to help their students achieve their musical goals by helping them to develop confidence and security in their vocal production.

Tyler Hoyt

Tyler HoytTyler has been involved in music since his Freshman year of High School. He has been singing and playing piano for 13 year and heavily involved in Theater both on and off stage. Tyler has been in multiple productions including “The Addams Family” as Uncle Fester, “The Phantom of the Opera” as signor Piangi and Audrey II in “Little Shop of Horrors”. He was the Music Director a few productions, the most recent was “Tuck Everlasting” for the Tyngsboro Community Theater. Tyler is currently the Director of Choral Ministries at Lutheran Church of the Savior in Bedford, MA and has been in this position for 7 years. He runs and over sees 4 different choirs atTyler Hoyt this church including a children’s choir, a concert choir, a men’s choir, and a treble choir. Tyler has been invited to participate in multiple National Honors Choirs including the one at Concordia University Seward. He is currently part of the Umass Lowell Chamber Singers. Tyler has an Associate’s Degree in Arts and Sciences with a specification in Music. He has an Award for Excellence in Music from Middlesex Community College. Tyler is currently working towards his Bachelor’s in Music Studies at The University of Massachusetts, Lowell.

Nicole Burns

Nicole Burns is a vocalist studying at the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a degree in Music Performance. She is set to graduate spring 2024 and she currently performs with the University’s chamber choir and Opera workshop. In the past semesters she has participated in songwriting, early music, contemporary electronic and R&B ensembles. She specializes in musical theater and popular music but has a wide variety of training in other genres as well. She has performed in many musical theatre productions over the years such as Sweeney Todd, Annie, On the Town, and Crazy for you. Nicole also enjoys teaching about stage presence and vocal techniques to enhance a performance or character. She loves connecting with her students and as a teacher she wants to see them grow in confidence on and off the stage!

Tinson Lam

Tinson LamTinson Lam is a music educator, arts administrator, and professional musician from Lowell, Massachusetts. Mr. Lam completed his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education with vocal & instrumental emphases from Asbury University in Kentucky and received his Master’s Degree in Performing Arts Leadership and Management from Shenandoah University in Virginia. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Lam signed on as a violin instructor for the Bluegrass Arts Collective for three years. He also sang in several opera/musical theatre workshops and choral residencies in England and Italy. Mr. Lam currently teaches general music, orchestra, and choir in the Lowell School District, performs for weddings/special events, and is an active member of several orchestras in the Greater Boston area, notably the Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) and Firebird Pops Orchestra. His vocal specialization is pop, musical theatre, and classical music. He is passionate about arts integration in education, youth development, and arts community engagement and empowerment.
