Musical Education:

Tony is an alumni of Berklee College of Music and was fortunate to study with the late William G. Leavitt (Berklee book 1, 2 & 3 Hal Leonard Publications, published world wide).  He studied classical guitar with Robert Sullivan, head professor of New England Conservatory and jazz guitar with world renown instructor Mick Goodrick.

Personal Experience:

Tony has played shows with Howie Mandel, Joe Piscapo (SNL), Rebecca Parris, The Drifters, and performed many other tv, radio, theater, and recording sessions. 

Teaching:

Tony has taught thousands of guitar lessons in all styles of music, all levels, all age groups, and prides himself in keeping the student engaged by making the guitar lesson fun.  Lessons are a playing session as well as a learning session.

Musical Education:

  • Youth: Learning songs from (and scratching up) my record collection.
  • High School: Band Chorus - voted most talented in high school.
  • College: Berklee College of Music - Arranging Composition. Studied guitar with Lance Gunderson at Berklee
  • Continued self-studies on lap & pedal steel guitars.

Personal Experience:

  • BMI member radio ad jingles, perform on a regular basis.
  • Performed in TV commercial for Holiday Inn.
  • Guitar with house band on WNZN sports radio (The Zone)
  • Music published with Decidedly Superior Music Publishing, NY, NY.
  • Music on Lennon & McCartney's fried chicken restaurant skit on SNL
